NavFIT
PROGRAM

The program is finicky. It can be found in the ShareDrive, either accessed through AVHE or your government laptop. Copy and paste to a File Explorer to find it:

\\wrnmdfpisivdi01\ThinApp\Navfit

**You can only run the program from this location.

When you double click on the program be sure to:

  1. File -> Create Database -> Name it and save.

  2. Once it creates the root file, press on create FITREP in the middle.

  3. In NAVFIT save and close the report to return to the Home Screen.

  4. At the bottom you’ll see export folder/report chose either one and save your access file.

  5. Once completed forward that file with your supporting documents to leadership.

OER Support Form 101

​TIMELINE

  • July-August: Start new OER support form. Obtain Rater and Senior Rater DODID from chief resident. Review Senior Rater's Rating Philosophy above.

  • Sep-December: PD/senior rater will schedule "developmental counseling" appointment with you. 

    • Before meeting your senior rater: Update OER Support Form; Update MedHub's Portfolio; Update "Long Term Personal and Professional Career Planner Spreadsheet". Send the Long Term Career Planner spreadsheet to your senior rater before your appointment.

  • Mar-April: Finalize OER support form (see video for details); Update MedHub Portfolio.

  • May: Rater and Senior Rater finalize edits to OER.

  • May-June: Senior Rater developmental counseling conducted; Rater, Senior Rater, and You will sign the OERs.

  • June 27th: Senior Rater submits your OER to HQDA electronically.
