Training Psychotherapy is a highly encouraged adjunct to your outpatient 3rd year of residency, but recommended to start mid/late PGY2 year. Up to 100 sessions are covered by the residency program.

Psychiatry for the
If anyone is in need of a psychiatrist but does not want to be seen in the outpatient clinic in the America building, you can be seen by Dr. Schneider, one of the psychiatrists at USUHS. As always, if there are any questions or concerns about getting behavioral health care for yourself or another resident, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of the chiefs, the program director or APDs.
